What To Expect
Timing
Your first appointment will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out the patient paperwork if you have not filled out the patient information online. Follow-up appointments are approximately 45-60 minutes.
Frequency
The frequency of your appointments will be determined after the initial evaluation. Typically, patients come to physical therapy 1-3 times per week over the course of 4-12 weeks.
Participation
Plan to wear modest, comfortable clothing that will allow you to move freely. You will participate in a rehabilitation plan designed specifically for you and your unique condition.
Graduation
Once your physical therapy is complete, you will be able to continue with the exercise program that the therapist has given you. You can also continue your progress by participating in the Precision Performance and Therapy exercise program design. This provides you the benefit of having the individualized program without the higher cost of other wellness programs or personal training programs.

Insurance and Referrals
Health insurance
Generally covers physical therapy treatment, but each insurance plan is different. You should contact your insurance carrier to inquire about your physical therapy benefits. Precision Performance and Therapy can also help you determine if you are in our network.
Referrals
Idaho is a Direct Access state, meaning most insurance plans allow for you to be treated in physical therapy without a physician referral. Please check with your insurance carrier to see if they require a physician prescription to be eligible for physical therapy coverage.
