What Is Physical Therapy?

Physical Therapy is a medical treatment that may consist of a variety of interventions that include, but are not limited to, exercise, balance, manual therapy, massage/soft tissue mobilization, stretching, dry needling, and ice/heat to help improve pain, restore motion, improve balance, improve strength, and ultimately help you participate in the activities that you like to do without having to worry about feeling as limited while you are performing those activities.

Physical Therapy can be helpful with individuals who have injuries or are limited in a variety of areas. This includes, but is not limited to, sports injuries (sport medicine), work related injuries ( worker’s compensation), surgeries, motor vehicle accidents, chronic pain/injuries, and others all the way down to some of your daily aches and pains.
